The main assumption of the project was to create a form of the fiscal cash register, which combines its function with the form. An important element that was included in the design process was the product ergonomics. The device should be fully functional for small female hands as well as the male ones. The cash register is designed for restaurants, so the form of the product is maintained in the spirit of minimalism.

IDEA

The main assumption of the project was to create a form of cash register, which combines its function with the form. An important element that was included in the design process was the product ergonomics. The device should be fully functional for small female hands as well as the male ones. The cash register is designed for restaurants, so the form of the product is maintained in the spirit of minimalism.

PROCESS

I started my exploration of the form with sketches, thanks to which I was able to find the best shape of the object. Then I started to model the object in 3D. Undercuts at the bottom make it easy to grab and lift.
